Drop-Off Process (Local Whangārei Customers)

1. Payment

Choose your preferred rebind style (Classic, Design, or Advanced) and complete payment through the website.
This upfront payment secures your place in my schedule and covers all materials, handling, and workmanship.
If you’re not sure which style to select, feel free to get in touch before ordering.

At checkout, select Local Drop Off.

After checkout, you’ll receive an email with full drop-off instructions, including the secure Whangārei drop box location and code.

2. Drop Off Your Item

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive clear instructions on how and where to deliver your taonga or special piece.
Please ensure your item is wrapped safely and include your name and order reference inside the parcel or bag before placing it in the secure drop box.

3. Restoration Period

Each piece is carefully reworked by hand, honoring its original style while strengthening and enhancing the cord for lasting wear.
Turnaround time from when I receive your item is typically 1–3 days.

5. Collection Notification

Once your rebind is complete, your piece will be securely packaged and placed back into the secure drop box for collection.
You’ll receive an email confirming it’s ready to pick up.

NZ-Wide Shipping Process

1. Payment

At checkout, select “Shipping Return - Select if you require your piece to be packaged and returned to you via courier NZ wide - Tracking Included.”

After checkout, you’ll receive an email with the correct workshop postal address and full instructions for sending your item.

2. Send Your Item

Post your taonga or special piece to my workshop using your preferred courier.
Please wrap your item securely and include your name and order reference inside the package.

3. Receive Confirmation

Once your package arrives, I’ll send a confirmation message to let you know it has been received safely.
If anything needs clarification or if I notice something unusual, I’ll be in touch before starting the rebind.

4. Restoration Period

Your taonga is carefully restored by hand, with attention to honoring its original form while strengthening the binding for long-term wear.
The typical turnaround time once your package arrives is 3–5 days.

5. Return Shipping & Tracking

When your rebind is finished, your item will be securely packaged and returned via courier.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as it’s on its way back to you.
