1. Payment
Secure your rebind service by selecting your style (Classic, Creative, or Advanced) and complete payment through this website. This upfront payment confirms your place in my schedule and covers all the work, materials, and handling involved. If you’re unsure which option to choose, feel free to get in touch before placing your order.
Postage Info
Postage and tracking are not included in the service price. You will need to cover the cost of sending your item/s to me, as well as the return courier and additional tracking. Full instructions, including where to post or drop off your item, will be emailed to you after checkout.
2. Send Item
Once your order is placed, you will receive clear instructions on how and where to send your taonga or special piece. Local customers can use the secure drop box in Whangārei, and NZ-wide customers can post their item to my workshop. Please wrap your piece safely and include your name and order reference.
3. Receive Confirmation
When your item arrives, I will send you a confirmation message to let you know it has been received safely. At this point, if I have any questions about the binding or if I notice anything unusual, I’ll reach out to you before I begin.
4. Restoration period
Each piece is lovingly and thoughtfully reworked by hand. I take care to honour the original style while strengthening and enhancing your cord for lasting wear.
Turnaround time from when I receive your package is typically 3–5 days.
5. Return tracking
Once your rebind is complete, your piece will be securely packaged and returned using the return courier bag you provided with your original parcel. Your details, already filled out on the return label, help to ensure a smooth and safe delivery.
When your piece is either shipped or ready for collection from the secure drop box, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you of this.
